Soo... can we consider chroma packs a total failure?

i disagree about the champion mastery as that idea is a failure too in my opinion. champion mastery needs to be revamped lol but IP now that's acceptable. and being so simple it lets people who cant afford RP to still feel good about something, right? that player that cant afford RP can still customize hes character's appearance slightly. Buying it with IP is a good idea :D.

I am not sure that chromas can be considered a failure, since were an experiment to begin with. However, at least from EUW, i think that did not sell well.

Chromas are the least visible of all aesthetic customization, after all. It' s not like skins where you can also see a different splash and so other players are "notified" somehow by the chroma. Sometimes i do not even notice that some champions are wearing chromas, mostly Bard.

Adding a side unlock with IP might be appropriate at this point, i say maybe because idk about ecommerce at all and there are a lot of nuances behind every sold unit, but speaking about the unlocking itself should be fine. or by complete random drop by chests.

They should delete chroma packs, refund the money to everyone and make the 3 Zac's chromas into acctual skins

Or you could just download custom skins for the champ. It's easy, allowed and free, plus you can check for safety. Why pay actual money to change the colors of the skin? You can actually do that yourself. If you want to use rp, just buy another skin.

Up until now, Chromas have been sort of an experiment, on the most part. Riot mentioned that they actually do have plans for Chromas and are aware of its system's current state.
