solidify her as the Assassin she was meant to be

I'm afraid they will make Swain into some weird tactician in his gameplay. That just too different from his current Warlock gameplay. A Master Tactician would never put himself in the line of fire so I don't want to see a kit where he is trying to use elaborate plan.

Just because he is a Master Tactician doesn't mean he is chop liver. I want to play the Jericho Swain that greet the foolish assassin who decide to take a job to kill Swain. When they underestimate the Grand General but only too realize that he is this power mage, bird, monster but it's too late. That the Swain I want to play. Yes he is a Master Tactician but that doesn't mean he have to be one in gameplay too.

You think cutting off the head is the best tactic but once you tried you realize that the head is armed to the teeth and it will cut you before you can hurt it.

Althoug I was rooting for Evelyn to be more diver than assassin so seeing them go the route that "well she is an assassin in lore so she need to be assassin in game" was saddening.
