In the Quick Gameplay Thoughts: January 16 Meddler mentioned that there would be visual updates coming for Cho'Gath's abilities.

When the PBE update hit yesterday, those updates finally came through.

Eh, I kinda like old Rupture better. The old one looked like actual teeth and bone jutting out of the ground. That's unsettling and dare I say it, Lovecraftian. This is just purple spikes.

Out of curiosity, to any Rioters who may be reading. Any reason for the change? I have a theory.

i just hope that while there doing this they update some of the other skins particles

like i dont think any of his other skins work with purple
