@Riot, Most Players Seem to be against the Lore Retcon. When Will Your Decisions Make Sense?

Many players seem to think that if you wanted to get rid of the League of Legends, from a game titled League of Legends, you should have at least done it through writing.

Retcons feel aweful for a playerbase. For some reason, Riot decided to force one on us, seemingly for no other reason that your writers were to lazy to include the old lore cannon while writing the new lore-which has been pretty scarce and doesn't seem to contradict anything from the old lore, making the whole idea of a retcon seem ridiculous.

Riot, can we talk about this? It seems so silly to us players.

If there are reason for how you are seemingly destroying LoL's lore, let us know what they are at least, cuz seriously, Runeterra's Lore makes less sense now than ever. Considering how popular LoL is, you would think that you guys would have your shit together in terms of lore by now...but it's still a mess.

Someone at Riot needs to make lore a priority, and fix it in a few weeks. Seriously Riot, you're taking too long. Way too long. This retcon has been happening for months/years.

If you weren't ready for it, you shouldn't have started it. Riot, You are looking really incompetent because of how you're handling your lore. You will lose some players...heck, you already lost me. I still post on the the forums in hope that you will bring the lore back to the level that you used to have, but seriously, check my match history. - Haven't played a game in months.

Riot, Fix your lore issues.

Let us care about Runeterra again.

Really, you guys did such a good job with your lore during season 1 and 2. Go back that, it worked.

What you're doing now isn't working.

No matter how good you display the new lore, if it isn't good, it won't become good.

The lore we had with the Journal of Justice was awesome, despite being text based.

It was good based on its own merit. The content actually mattered and affected Runeterra in some way.

The new stuff doesn't seem to do that. It's all flash and no substance.

Riot, go back to your roots and rediscover what works.

I'm sure there's lots of Runeterra Lore fans ready to sign back into the League of Legends when you do...

Providing the "League of Legends" is actually part of the game's lore again.

I mean seriously, in a game titled "League of Legends". you would think there would actually be something called "the League of Legends" within that game's lore!
