Karma shoukd be less Dalai Lama, more Joan of Arc

For those who don’t know, Joan of Arc was a French heroine canonized as a saint for her role in the 100 Years War.

Throughout her life, Joan of Arc claimed to hear the voices of angels in her head. While a modern mindset understands this as schizophrenia, consider how Joan of Arc became a hero to her people and even a spiritual icon.

Karma, as of right now, is a complete pacifist, which upsets many of her fans (pun unintended). Whereas before Karma preached the necessity for violence and peace, now she refuses to consider violent options.

Keep in mind, I do not believe this to be an inferior character, I do believe this to be unfaithful to Karma as a character.

However, the new Karma fits within Riot’s vision for Ionia, Karma is to more deliberately represent the pacifist traditions persisting in times of struggle. I have to acknowledge that Riot needed a champion to embody that perspective as a leader for the commoners.

The problem I see with that is that this is pretty much Irelia.

Karma is supposed to be the enlightened one and the reincarnation theme does fit that, the execution of the theme is the bgiger problem
