Given her VO, it's overwhelmingly obvious which of those options she's going with.

Honestly she doesn’t look monstrous enough to really understand people calling her monster.

I mean, she can probably hide most of her suit under a robe.

My theory is that she may help fight for Runeterra and not side with the Voidlings, but she may eventually just return to the void because it's the only place she really knows. Maybe people will consistently mistreat her or reject her due to her body. Maybe she won't be able to integrate with a culture. Any number of things could happen that could cause her to turn her back on Runeterra. Just because she opposes the Void doesn't mean she won't abandon the other side if pushed far enough.

She might -want- to protect the world from the Void, but that doesn't mean that's the choice she'll be allowed to make. Eventually that symbiote may just take her over completely, and if/when that happens, she won't have much of a say in anything anymore. That might be why she's going by a Voidling name and not a human one.
