@Riot, Can You Talk To Us About The Upside Of The Retcon? It Feels Like We Lost So Much With No Gain

Riot used to be one of the most popular game developers due to their ability to communicate with their playerbase on a personal level.

Keeping that i n mind, here goes:

Can you give us explicit details about what your priorities are when it comes to lore and story?

What do you value about the old lore?

What advantages have you gain through the retcon? (to me it doesn't feel like any, except for the ability for you to produce champion lore that's only 2 sentences long - WHICH IS SERIOUSLY LAZY)

What parts of the old lore were constricting the recently produced lore? It feel like some of the old lore was removed for no reason. None of the recently produced lore could have not been produced with it still in place.

What gains have players seen that couldn't have been possible without the retcon?

Have you guys ironed out your staffing issues?

How are things going with the current narrative/lore/foundations team? Are things starting to stabilize? Or are things still in a state of flux?

What kind of development schedule can we expect from you?

Are you guys and girls at Riot willing to talk with us again about stuff like this, or is this going to go ignored like most other threads that try to hold RIot to a higher standard?

Seriously, Riot, what is the upside of this Retcon?

Tbh,Impetual if you are truly concerned about the lore then you should stop spamming threads like this.

Because honestly you sound more like a troll throwing some random sentences about the retcon together just to create dissatisfaction among the lore community.

I mean your arguementation doesn't even make sense, you talk as if the retcon made the short lores possible, but short lores were always possible and if the lore team thinks they are a good idea, then they would have added them sooner or later anyway, regardless if the retcon was a thing or not.

Not to mention that you basically create a topic that is supposedly talking about one aspect of the lore(in this case about the upsides of the retcon),but then you start throwing a bunch of questions into the opening-post that have nothing to do with your actual topic.

They had plans to release a lot of lore after the retcon, but since everyone was complaining and hated it, they probably decided what's the point? Basically, we probably would have got tons of lore released monthly but the community wouldn't keep their mouths shut. Why put resources into something everyone would just complain about every time something new was released?
