All of those champions have been released since

or got a new skin

Udyr's last skin was also before Bard was released, so Neeko will be his 18th champion release since skin.

BUT POPULARITY!

- 6.6%, more popular than Kat (2 skins in that time) or Fizz (3 skins in that time) - 5.8%, on par with Ashe (3 skins in that time), more popular than Sona (2 skins in that time) - 4.2%, on par with Evelynn (2 skins in that time) - 4.0%, on par with Gangplank (3 skins in that time) - 3.2%, tied with Amumu (1 skin in that time), more popular than Annie (2 skins in that time) - 1.4%, ... ok, I got nothing.

But they need an update!

If they've needed an update for over 3 years and 6 months then they should be higher up on the rework list. It's worth pointing out that the lowest two champions on that ladder in terms of popularity are ones that Riot tried updating back with the Juggernaut update. Riot also slipped Evelynn a skin (Safecracker) while waiting to update her, could literally nothing be done for these?

Please Riot, don't keep these champs waiting any longer. Throw them a bone.

All of those champions are rocking N64 graphics. I'd rather Riot not waste time on putting a new finish on rotting driftwood and instead give them the updates they need.

I bet Mordekaiser is being reworked, so that's why he hasn't gotten a skin.

Mordekaiser Skarner Udyr Shaco are all high priority for a full VGU. They also don't base skin releases purely on popularity. Xerath and Zilean seem like they would be difficult to find a theme they fit well with.

Skins are no longer just haphazardly made based on date. Thematically, these champs are hard to make skins for that people will like.

Granted, it will upset people who use those champs, but I'd rather wait longer for a good skin than settle for a bad one.

I know they not long ago, maybe a month or so, Riot asked on Twitter what kind of Shaco skin people would like to see, so they are looking at him for the near future.

Then Morde, yeah he's almost 100% confirmed for a VGU in 2019, it could come with a new skin alongside if they have something in the works, never know (happened for the long-awaited Swain skin after all).

The rest, eh, yeah not so sure. I'd like to see a new Zilean one but not sure what they could do with him off the top of my head. He feels like a bit tricky to make some good thematic skins for.

Don't lose hope! A bunch of rework-list champs have gotten skins pretty recently, including Rammus Fiddlesticks DrMundo Amumu

Xerath Zilean I'd say are the only ones there that probably weren't intentionally neglected, probably more a case of they just happened to not get skins. Zilean has always been pretty rare to get skins; he had to wait over four years for Blood Moon, so this isn't even the longest he's gone. Xerath definitely needs to get Dark Star, or something purple so we can have Xerath rainbow.

Shaco definitely has a chance. They're working on animation updates for him so I doubt he's anywhere close to getting his udpate, as much as it saddens me. Someone else mentioned they asked on twitter for skin ideas for him, so that's hopeful.

Udyr Mordekaiser I can't see getting skins until they're updated honestly. The rest definitely have a chance.

5/6 of those champions have something in common can you guess what it is?

Xerath Riot is slacking on this guys skins so I'll give you that.
