OKAY BUT HAS ANYONE ACTUALLY READ JANNA'S NEW SHORT STORY!? Riot included an LGBT Character and It gave me so many goosebumps! I'm actually freaking out I'm so happy right now!

"He entered the room, looked down at my Gray-stained clothes, and laughed a strangled, joyless laugh. He said, “Sorry, my boy – we don’t take sump-rats here.” This implies the character is male.

Two paragraphs later.

"She was wrong, of course. I wasn’t fine, in the end. Couple of years ago, she – my mother – died while sump-scrapping, and I had to raise myself with the few gears she left me. Then, the usual: couldn’t make friends. Got beaten up a lot. Boy I loved didn’t love me back. Tried to study, tried to think my way up to Piltover. Couldn’t. Figured Janna had forgotten about me. " Bolded sentence implies romantic and un-requited love.

They also added in some LGBTQ stuff in the Progress Day story before Camille's launch!

"Tamara passes through the square, avoiding sprinting pneuma-tube runners as they race to bear messages to their destinations. A promenade courtier, Noami Kimba, waves to her and blows her a kiss. They have met three times in the sultry air of evening, and each time Kimba has offered her a chance to spend the night in her arms. I think you're right. I can't imagine live roosters would be very common in Zaun either (I have no facts to back-up how common a dead rooster would be however), so I think even if the love wasn't requited he might have taken the offer for the poultry at least.

Well that's because being LGBT isn't a vibe? I don't think you were dense, I just think it was an overlook. They didn't scream it from the rooftops that this character loves dick, they just slipped it in naturally. Depending on how involved you are with the LGBT community or LGBT people overlooking something as simple as that, is not unforgiveable, and it's not uncommon.

What was the indication that the character was LGBT? I honestly assumed it was a more class based struggle because he wasn't allowed an apprenticeship since he was a Zaunite

To be honest, I moused over the topic from the list, read this was about Janna's new story, and my first thought was "I thought that Frost Queen skin of hers had a bulge in the splash art... now it makes sense."

I think it was well done and not shoved in peoples faces like most people writing in LGBT references in gaming (Like making it the only character trait of said character etc)... That is all.

Well, the lore team has been consistently slipping this into their new stories as just general, normal asides that the people of Runeterra are thinking about.
