I really liked that, it was a nice touch.

I was wondering if there are any plans to tack some of those onto regular items.

Ex.

could be a noxian torture device, a mask that slowly gouges out the eyes of any who wear it. could be the fossilized skull and spinal cord of an ancient voidborn creature. Could be the weapon of a famous duelist; maybe an ancestor of Fiora could be the heart of a watcher remember what Feral Flare said? About how it was devouring champions and monsters and ponies? That. Almost all of the items used to have flavor text, like item 3110 "Warning: do not thaw!" item 3091 "A snake without fangs is like a man at wit's end" item 3083 "It'll protect you for a time, But when It grows tired of you, who will protect you from it?"

Then they all got removed for some reason

On that note, I like the fact they've been sticking flavour text on champion ultimates recently with Illaoi and Tahm Kench. Really nice touch!

But yes, more flavour text. Do want, would be very happy to see.

A lot of the items in League of Legends used to have flavour text. For some reason, Riot has removed almost all flavour text, not really sure why.

thornmail, vamp scepter and executioner's calling are noxian items in the old lore (if I recall correctly executioner's calling grievous wounds was explained by having hooks that released from the blade into the victim after being slashed so that pulling the blade out ripped the flesh)
