By elemental champion i mean champions that basically are an incarnation of some type of force of nature.
Example:
: Is basically an avatar of ice
Maokai is a force of nature
Zyra is a living plant
Malphite is the quintessential "elemental champion" as he is in fact a rock.
So what are our chances of seeing for example a "water elemental champion" or a "wind champion" stuff like that?

I always hoped that we'll get a water elemental and that it turns out that and the wind elemental of form the 4 elements of the world
I mean is a tree spirit, is a mutant plant,so they aren't necessary elementals and is a bit hard to pin down,she seems to be connected to the freljord alone.
Anivia is a pheonix of ice, a creature of its own - not an elemental. Zyra, iirc, is a plant beast that can form a shape of a human or consumed a human mage. But not an elemental unless youd count Talon as a 'human elemental'.
Maokai, Brand, Malphite and Nocturne id only count as elementals
Wind/Air:

Earth:
Ice:
Lightning/Thunder

And then, you still have subelements [Blood, metal, poison, energy, etc.] So there are lots of them.
Ao Shin (whenever he comes out) will likely be a wind elemental-esque champ. Judging by the leaked images anyway.
