The Journal of Justice Issues

Posting this link since narrative still hasn't delivered on their promise to link the issues of the JoJ to the primary website.

This is the work that was produced before the long lore hiatus, hiring of Tommygnox, and ultimately the generally unwanted retcon. Yes, I know some of you are fine with the retcon, but the majority of the lore community is not. Let new players read these and make their own decision about which route they enjoy more. Thank you.

Right now Riot just abandoned their old lore to die a peaceless death. Not even are the storylines finished.

Does this mean older story efforts like the Journal of Justice and League Judgments are meaningless? Of course not. In the same way that we can go back and enjoy old books, shows, films, art, and comics that have been superseded by more recent interpretations of the same material, League’s original lore remains a cherished part of its history. From comic books to classic literature, exploration of the same creative space in vastly different ways is a natural part of storytelling.

We can only go back due to third party websites being so kind to host this old lore...

They promised that? Didn't they remove it from the site because of how much it would conflict with current things?

I do support spreading knowledge of the old canon, however. If I remember right, it was a JoJ article that debunked the "puppetmaster" thing before it started. Heh, maybe that's half the reason they took it down.

I like the old Journal of Justice, but I do believe, Riot being the player-driven company they say they are, will defiantly provide a great product at the end. The new Shurima lore of Xerath/Nasus/Azir/Renekton were so perfectly drawn together that I can't wait for the next few lore updates. . . . The new champion might be the reason they started the retcon, who knows?

Edit: I don't understand why I was downvoted, but let me explain a bit; this is my personal thought, as lore wise goes like OP said, people like me enjoy this new lore, does it have several flaws? Of course! However, I don't think its appropriate to say that its terrible, when it actuality, its just different from what we were used to.
