Why is a 1350 skin better than an 1820 skin?

I'm of course referring to Soulstealer Vlad over Blood Lord Vlad.

Blood Lord Vlad of course has the new VO/emotes and 'bigger' 'redder' Q and Es (at least they sort of look bigger and redder), but his W and R are the same, as are autos. (With the update)

Soulstealer Vlad has new animations for ALL of his abilites, and is much more modern/aesthetically pleasing in his model and textures.

Riot missed their oppportunity to update Blood Lord so that it matches a lot of the other Legendary skins. :/ I have both, and mastery 5 on Vlad, but I find myself using Soulstealer Vlad much more when Blood Lord should be a much cooler skin.

Am I the only one that thinks this?

That happens a lot. Old legendary skins are often not as good as more recent legendarys, just compare something like Demonblade Tryndamere to Omega Squad Teemo. Demonblade Trynd has a changed visual and his voice is a little changed. Omega Squad Teemo has a whole story, new voiceover/lines, completely different visual, new effects and sounds etc. etc. etc. and yeah, imo even 975RP skins begin to become cooler than these. Maybe give them some time to rework them. I think right now they are busy with many other things.

Blood Lord is inferior to even classic Vlad because it removes his puns.

I don't know why you'd play someone so negative. It's just putting red on your ledger. Something something platelets.

Vladimir is really old as far as champs go and a full VU plus better art design would do well for all his pre-soulstealer skins. That said many champions are in more dire need of updating, so we'll be waiting a while unless Riot has been expanding their VU team a lot recently.

Blood Lord Vlad is not bad, but yeah, it doesn't worth 1820 RP IMO...I'm using it because I like the different voice......and, one more thing, somehow I feel BLV has a better "handfeel" than Vlad's other skins.
