Does anyone else think that the Arcade login screen makes Riven look really young?

The Arcade login screen showed up on the PBE today (without sound), and once I recovered from the depiction of a genuinely happy Riven I couldn't help but notice that she looks quite a few years younger than I would normally expect. Between that face and the way that she seems smaller than usual - that might be a misjudgement on my part - she looks more like Ekko or Jinx's age to my eye than her usual self. She certainly looks like she's lost a few years from the Arcade splash art.

Anyone else feel the same way, and do you guys think the login could use some tweaks?

It's most likely different artist styles that are causing this.

While I agree, she does look younger, it's probably just the difference in artistic style between the two artists.

Guys the real crime committed with this log in screen is Hecarim's absence. Where is he, waiting in base to homeguard teleport in or something

What's wrong with that? I love the way she looks in both the splash and the login screen. It's just different styles of artists.

Maybe all arcade skins are actually just kids playing video games while the skin we play as is what they see as well (am I explaining myself well here?)

Sona and MF look younger as well, I think it's just the art style they decided to use for the login.

I wish the splash art was the picture on the right. I think it looks more fun and arcade. Riven should be allowed to have a fun loving skin

I believe it's to make her look more fun and whimsical, like she's actually enjoying life XD I like it though =]

Well i thought the arcade login screen was the real splash art but later I found out that it was the login screen but the login screen would make a great splash art my opinion

It's because you are used to see her super serious... while in the login screen she is all "YAY GAMES!!!!"

People take login screen way too seriously. It was meant to be fun looking piece with different approach. Which doesn't mean that these characters must resemble real in-game characters who look original and "mature".

for me, it makes a lot of sense that she looks younger, it's arcade riven, something that most of us relate due to our childhood... so it's definitely more relatable seeing a younger riven covered with pixels

That is kind of the point of the login screen. Sona and Miss Fortune are depicted younger as well. I think it is to depict kids playing at an arcade like people used to do as well, kids.

They all look a little childlike thanks to the art style, but it's exaggerated by their poses. Riven's kneeling on Sona's board with her left foot up, which makes it look like she's a lot smaller than she really is. Sona's hunched over, so there's some foreshortening going on.

It isn't in the nature of riven and that's what I love! By far my favorite login screen, but I think the arcade riven splash art itself is horrible compared to the login, shes so happy and shit then shes all BOOM grim
