Traditional Skins

Why did Riot stop doing them? Yorick's rework got rid of a lot about him people loved, especially his dank lantern, and Galio "rework" was more like a new champion. I feel like they both deserve a traditional skin with how different their new splashes and models are. Sion, Warwick, Poppy, etc., don't really need traditional skins since they just got modernized, not completely remade.

Because traditional skins delayed the reworks and were considered to be not worth it. Also keep in mind that they always have to keep the silhouette similar,so Yorick will never be as hunched over as he was before, will probably always have an ethereal cape and never a lantern sticking out of his back again, even if they had made a traditional skin that wouldn't have changed.

Hm. I suppose those things are true. I personally wouldn't mind a little delay for a reworked champ to get at least a recolor on their new model, like if Yorick got recolor end to have the rags and old walker colors, or a Galio recolor with the blue and yellow.

I feel like a chroma based on the old character would actually be a nice compromise.
