Please! Is Demonblade Tryndamere 'canon' or not?
I like to think that he is, because all the champions in all the cinematics (Original, A Twist of Fate, A New Dawn) are presented in their classic 'skin' while Tryndamere was 'Demonblade Tryndamere'. Is it just a silly coincidence that Tryndamere was the only champion not featured normally like the rest? How about using Pre Void Kassadin as an example:
It must be canon because obviously Kassadin existed in that form before the Void.
Clearly other skins like Brolaf or Arcade Hecarim would be impossible to be canon, so let's skip that argument of "all skins are just skins and none of them are canon to the champion's actual lore".
I believe that great lore makes a great game; A weak story makes bad game....So yes I think the retcon was a bad idea because it took away what made the game cool in the frist place.
I would like a Red response about this: Is Demonblade Tryndamere a 'real' thing or not? Are some skins tied to champion lore?
