Karma just got her winter wonder skin and riot plans on making another one for her. There are champs like illaoi that havent gotten their second skin yet and riot wants to give karma another skin a couple of months after winter wonder? Thats a joke. How about riot gives particles to more singed skins and all the twitch skins give skarner a skin illaoi a skin taliyah a skin aure lion sol a skin yorick a skin then you can give karma her 2nd fking skin of this season
The Conqueror skin is a replacement for the Challenger skin line, and those are made separate from regular skin schedule.
Plus, it's already mostly done, you just want them to scrap it and get nothing instead?
With most of the stuff from leak true, we'll be seeing a new Twitch skin soon, that will hopefully be 1350. So he's got the love coming.
Karma's skin is, as her last one, another Legacy, so it's not like it will be in the store year round. Plus it is her to update/replace the former Challenger skins we got at the start of the season, so had they continued that theme, she would have most likely gotten it right after her other skin anyway. Plus being eSports means it doesn't mean she can't have one anyway as they are made on a different time line from the other skins.
Other ones could yes still have something nice but it will be awhile unfortunately.
Also pretty sure taliyah will see one around summer time for Pool party since that was BIG one people went right into when they saw her.
The Challenger/Conquerer skins are not part of the usual skin line-up. Ahri received her skin in 2015 and also Academy Ahri in 2015. This particular skin line is not about who deserves it but more about what the previous season reflects. Karma was played a lot in the previous LoL season and she garnered a lot of attention in Worlds. I would not be a bit surprised if she gets another skin released some time this year, since this skin doesn't technically count towards a number.
The skin is nice and she deserves it. Hopefully Riot will work hard and give other champions that really need a skin, but this series and the SKT skins I feel like are kind of excluded from the usual line up. Who knows, Karma might not even get a skin this year then.
Conqueror is an eSports skin though... and RiotKatana did explain why they chose her, she did exceptionally well at Worlds last year which lead to their decision for giving it to her, which in turn was probably originally meant to be a part of the Challenger skin line before they changed it.
They have already stated many times that the number of skins that are made for a Champion is based on themes that fit for him/her and it doesn't matter if another Champion has less skins. We can get 20 Twisted Fate skins and 2 Illaoi, the number doesn't mean anything.
So you suggest that Riot just flushes down all the work that they put into this skin for nothing? Its not like just because they scrap this skin an Illaoiskin will magically appear out of nowhere.
