Nautilus: Related to both Bilgewater and Shadow Isles?

I'm not a lore nerd or anything, but i think Nautilus is one of the VISUALLY best champions in LoL. Very recognizable and very mighty guys in a rusty diving suit using an anchor as weapon. I mean it's a great chaarcter concept. Still he is kinda forgotten.

What i want to say i that i feel like Nautilus has soemthing to do with both Bilgwater AND the Shadow Isles. If you look at his visuals you'dsay "diving suit? BIlgewater related!", but if you look at his details he reallly really has a "ghostly" appereance. First of all what really is Nautilus in he first place? We don't know. If the old lore is valid he was a human wich was consumed by a strange "black ooze" and became nautilus (if i remember correctly). If you look at those "green lines" that seems to hold his suit together they have a very ghostly appereance and in the same "clor scheme" then the other chamopion of the shadow isles.

Bottom line: Could Nautilus be "Nautilus" because he got consumed by the black mist? Maybe that black thing in the sea was something related to it?.

And also i would really like to udnerstand what Nautilus purpose is and what the hell is he. Adn why is he so big :D

He is a big daddy who wanders Rapture to defend little sisters. He lost his drill so he took an anchor and went to bilgewater to get a new one

He's a dude in a divers suit that got caught up in some black goo, when he got out of the water he was pissed off about it for a while but eventually, being the chill dude he is, got over it.

As far as i remember, according to the lore, the first appeareance of Nautilus was during a Harrowing... so, its possible that the dark thing that he saw, was his death, and the "black ooze" is actually the Black Mist, and he was resurrected by it.

II - 1 Year. The Drowned Anchor. One element of the Harrowing stalled. Reports of a NautilusSquare.png large figure encased in a rusted diving suit seen in the heart of the fighting.
