Is Lux supposed to come across as psychotic?

Because since the new VO, I've been getting a bit of a high-pitched psychotic vibe...

"I have to focus... BUT I CAN'T STOP SMILING!"

Or is it just me?

I always find it weird when an introvert (I'll just use myself, since I'm one of the few introverts I know) gets along way better with extroverted kids than other introverted kids.

There's something nice about naturally upbeat people.

Not perky though. There's a difference. Perky people annoy me to no end because they never shut up.

The line you're referencing is her mentioning her power.

Her power use to activate base on her emotions. If she's really sad, it might go off. If she gets too excited, it may go off. Her saying, "I must focus" is her trying to hold her power in, "but I can't stop smiling" is her trying to give the impression that she's okay and everything is going well.

Old Lux definitely was, what with the brainwashing and all. New Lux, not so much. She found her identity and is legitimately happy about it and is willing to own up to it in most respects.
