Nations of Runeterra- popularity contest

Hi everyone! After several discussions with some other lore-nerds, we were wondering which nations were the most popular and which were the least. This isn't about the best region (as there is something for everyone, and everyone has different tastes), but rather about their popularity.

Now, for the sake of this poll (and also because I can only put 10 option... hehe), I took out the Void (because... I don't know? Had to make a choice, and it seemed like a right one) and Bandle City (because it hasn't been updated yet. I mean it has, but we don't know much about it so). If these are your favourites, feel free to say so in the comments!

Also, if you want to rank them or explain why your prefer X region over another, feel free to do so!

Honestly though, I love the concept of Bilgewater. It's a lawless place where the scum of the Earth gather and you have to be cutthroat in order to survive, let alone take control of the place. And I just find that really interesting.

Bandle is my fav cuz yordles, but then it's freljord and shurima as close seconds. I just really like the lore that goes on like the gods of each of the regions. And just the style with each of those two regions appeals to me. (Ornn is totally off the rails). Teemo Ornn

Demacia and Noxus are my favorites, because they are pretty realistic in many ways.

Demacia: Thinks magic is inherently evil and destructive (for good reason, them rune wars were bad AF.) With a Semi-Feudal society and Military focus on a small, strong elite force to deal with its problems. (Also I think i remember reading somewhere it has a Athenian-like league of city states to protect each other from Noxus.) It's dichotomy with Noxus is not Good vs Evil, Its Un-meritocratic yet mostly peaceful bigoted society vs Meritocratic-but-you're-gonna-die not bigoted society.

Noxus: Not necessarily the "evil empire" They are more like a Roman Empire (Hi Swain. Yes, I know you're basically Julius Caeser.) there borders on the map literally show there inherent imperialistic nature with the STRAIGHT LINES AS BORDERS (for those of you that don't know. The only places in the world with straight lines as borders are places where Imperialistic Colonialism was Heavy, Ex: Africa) and all the little touches of a Militaristic yet Meritocratic Society in their lore, the fact of it's dichotomy with Demacia being cool, Just makes it a Nice setting in... GENERAL.

I personally really like Demacia. I have been drawn towards the concept since I started with League. The idea of people following terrible traditions even when they are aware of the issue is familiar to me. Yes, I know Demacians kill people just because of the fact they use magic but not all of them are like that and fear is easy to overcome and since Demacians are taught too help each other just sounds like there is room for improvement and hope for redemption. Also, at the state Demacia is at right now, I feel like there is a huge change coming up and I hope that there will be more lore for my misled children.

Frankly it was hard to chose

I like Targon, the lore for Diana and Leona were really good But Ionia is currently home of my first champion Riven and with Ahri and Akali being there, it was a little easier to make that decision

Though my main is Evelynn and I love her lore. Ionia would be a great place for her to get a meal.
