Conspiracy theory: The Crownguards killed Jarvan III

Specifically Tianna Crownguard/her husband. We know now from Aftermath that Mr. Tianna Crownguard was the head of the mageseekers. We also now know that Jarvan III was going to have the mageseekers halt the arrests of mages.

We can’t say for sure that they (the crownguards) knew about that last bit, as only Xin Zhao and Jarvan IV are seen to have read the letter. What I can surmise is that someone had an idea of what Jarvan III was going to do.

Now we have also seen in Aftermath that both Tianna and Mr. Tianna (I don’t remember if they revealed his name) are advising Jarvan III on how to deal with the mage rebellion, and that can’t be good.

Edit: I’m also adding that Tianna at least seems to hold ambitions for the throne, hence recommending that Lux marry Jarvan III

And who better to "investigate" Jarvan III's tragic death than the Mageseekers? After all, there's a mage rebellion going on. Mageseekers like, maybe, Tianna and Mr. Tianna would be highly qualified to erase any signs of look into the possibility of foul play.

I’d also like to add that it’s now obvious that Tianna wanted Lux married to Jarvan as a means of creating a Crownguard heir! I think the Crownguards are in it for the control of Demacia.

It's pretty obvious it was them. The bigger question is are they acting on their own "for the good of Demacia" or are they in cahoots with someone.

I hope unto kindred that the demacia novella that riot will release later will continue on with the civil war narrative and that we get the perspective of multiple characters We haven’t even finished the comic and already I’m hyped for the book Prince king jarven is at the center of all this and while there are quite a few champions that I think can help jarven out of his grief driven harsh stance on mages, their current situations will make it hard for them to do so Lux: a mage and unintentionally the instigator of the rebellion that, supposedly, led to the murder of jarvans father, lux will have a very hard time convincing jarven or any highly influential member of Jarvans court to sow for peace. XinZhao: guilty over not be there to prevent jarvans fathers death and although many do not blame him for the death of Jarvan the third , some (particularly aunty shoulder pads and her husband) will and likely remind him of the fact should he openly speak out against whatever harsh move that jarven makes on mages as well make any suspicions he likely has about the kings death seem weak Shyvana: Despite all the possible references to shyvana in the comic, I doubt she’ll be there at the last minute to help fight the uprising and may only come in the aftermath. Should she do so her being a magical creature will not help matters as jarven has now taken a dim view of magic and that fact she was not there will make others believe she left demacia (and jarven by extension) when she was needed most which will make whatever concerns that she may voice seem hollow and self serving as she is speaking on behalf of her fellow magical beings and not on the interests of ‘true’ demacians Garen: I believe that there is a higher chance of jarven convincing garen on taking about peace with mages then the other way around but since garen has such a close friend of jarven and since I don’t know what the next step in the story will be, garen changing his views will have a very big impact on jarven cause if someone like garen who has made no secret about his view on mage could be made to sympathize with mages then why can’t jarven be made to do so again. But as I’ve said before it will take something truly momental to change gardens views especially after whats happened recently Morgana: we do not yet know if Morgana will try to directly try calm the situation of the civil war of if she will do so from the shadows but despite her genuine good intentions for demacia, legends have portrayed her as the dark evil sister in demacian stories which will make it hard for some to trust her or her intentions All in all things seem grim for demacias future as forces both outside and within will seek to tear it apart

I have a different theory...

Leblanc Leblanc killed Jarvan.

WAIT WAIT WAIT

I know, i know, this theory is as old as the Journal of Justice and it sound like a joke right now, but wait for it...

I think that The Black Rose is behind the whole hate that Demacia has towards the mages and hey are the ones that created the Mageseekers in order of weaken Demacia, if Demacia hates the mages, then they dont use mages against Noxus.

Sure, that makes sense... But why do i think that the Black Rose is connected to all this?

Well, lets take a look at this image:

https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/06_The-Trickster_spfuk5qnj71je675974u.png

It is Interesting, right? A man that wears a mask that covers half of his face and has a rose on his hand. The mageseekers wear those kind of masks that cover half of their faces and the Rose is the emblem of the Black Rose.

The Trickster Eternal may not be part of the lore, but it fits perfectly with this.

......

And it would make little sense for Tianna to kill Jarvan III before the marriage of Lux and Jarvan IV, instead of waiting for the marriage, and then kill him.

Reviving necro- threads which already had their time to shine is against Universal Rules and as such I will be locking this thread to make sure it lands at the bottom of the howling abyss. I would strongly encourage looking at how old a thread is before commenting on it.

Should there be any questions regarding this action feel free to reach out in our Moderation Discord.

Jarvan III is not dead. He wants his son married first before he goes.

Since even Sylas doesn't know who killed J3 and it's unlikely that some random nameless mage did it, Tianna Crownguard and/or her husband seem like the most likely suspects. What if the next champion is either a Crownguard or some other Mageseeker who either attempts or succeeds in a coup in the last issue of the comic? Given the implications of the events of these comics in the lore, I really want to see Riot tie it in a meaningful way (i.e. beyond a few missions) to the actual game.
