Could the Maiden of the Mist be a relative of the Ruined King's?

So, I suppose we've all read the updated Shadow Isles lores from last year. Kalista was the king's niece, Hecarim was a brilliant warrior, the queen died etc etc.

Could the new Yorick's Maiden of the Mist be another relative of the Ruined King? Like a sister, a daughter or maybe even his wife? Can we get insight on her?

Nah the Maiden is sort of an embodiment of the mist itself rather than one specific soul. Think of it more as the Mist's voice given form.

Like everyone has already said, the Maiden of the Mist is an assimilation of souls bound to some kind of spooky form and Riot has pretty much confirmed this to be the case.

But like all cheeky skeptics I say BULL SHIT RITO! If the Maiden was made of tormented souls and in no way a single entity then wouldn't it be cool make sense that it's VO would be a conglomerate of voices? Something both female and male in nature, all speaking in unison and hell that would be creepy too. But the evidence we have says no, the Maiden vocalizes with a single female voice. So if something is meant to be everyone and yet no one at the same time then what is the importance of making her VO female?

Hence why logic would say that even if the Maiden wasn't specifically the Ruined Queen, she is at the very least a huge part of it's embodiment.

But if Riot says that's not the case, then i guess that's not the case. At the end of the day, the Maiden's VO could just be a wink and nudge to the Ruined Queen, nothing more nothing less.

Oh wow, apparently I missed the part where Kalista is the King's niece.

The Maiden is the culmination of thousands of undead souls that makes up the black mist cape on his back

I think that, with this in mind, the Maiden, while not a certain person herself, might be in the image of some other, long-lost character that had some importance in the Blessed Isles, be it the queen herself or another general.

I really haven't been following closely so I don't no for sure, but I'm pretty sure that the maiden is just an amalgamation of all the souls and black mist that Yorick carries around. I don't believe she was ever a real person.

Honestly I just sort of assumed that she was a large part the old queen. It'd explain why she speaks so highly of the ruined King.

Not saying there aren't others in there as well, but the embodiment of the mist and while I'm a bit unsure of the timeline I think the mist was created of warped to resurrect the queen. Which could make her the embodiment of it in one interpretation of the wording.

I'm probably wrong though.

She's a collection of thousands of souls.

I think she is a part of Mist itself who gained will, so that's why she calls ''father'' for the Ruined King.
