Who was Liandry?
So i always assumed Liandry was someone who got an item named after them or something in real life, but eve's new vo leads me to think otherwise
is there a person or entity in runeterra named Liandry? what were they like?

I know this is not canon but I wrote some fanfic once where Liandry was a fierce blood sorceress (a predecessor to Dmitri and Vlad if you will) whose reckless disregard for human life earned her a special sort of punishment. She was cursed to burn for a hundred years, but denied the relief of death. The enchanted mask, later to be known as Liandry's Torment, was the item they used to bind the curse.
I feel it sort of makes sense because blood mages strongly dislike being ignited and the in-game item seems to cause a sort of burning that doesn't ever kill the target.

I'm pretty sure when Evelynn and Aurelion mention her its just them breaking the 4th wall and doesnt mean anything lorewise
