I figured they'd have a group shot for the card skins, and it's pretty nice... especially since TF is included so I'm guessing they will swap his out for this one now.

Yes, they makes me think of a theory that Mordekaiser was ether the Ruined King himself, or the one who replaced him.

My only complaint is they haven't updated Ezreal to Super Saiyan like his in game model

It's blond. The color matches up with the golden with the shoulder pads. He's just standing in shadow.

I don't agree with Syndra's presence in Card line up at all, really. Ashe/Sejuani/Lissandra/Rek'Sai are all part of the 'queen' royality, and three of them could have played it straight. She is just ... there, for the sake of being there, it feels.

Pretty sure it really had nothing to do with them as characters, as they haven't had skins follow lore in awhile. She was just on their schedule for a new skin.

And... to be fair... Syndra has a Castle... a REAL CASTLE. Unlike Ashe, Reksai, Lissandra or Sejuani

Actually, Elise would be a candidate better than Syndra - she'd work great alongside Mordekaiser and Shaco.

Syndra has a temple that became a fortress, would be more apt. Her celestial fortress was the temple she was imprisoned in - now, whether or not any changes were made after the fact is a point of speculation. It might be considered a fortress for the fact it's flying in the sky and out of reach.

Ashe/Lissandra/Sejuani have fortresses themselves. Ashe especially we have seen before (in several Freljord pan-shot pictures).
