Kalista is Senna
On the champion reveal: Treacherously murdered, Kalista rose as a specter, twisted by the horrific power of the Shadow Isles. In death, she offers Runeterrans a proposition: surrender your soul to the Spear of Vengeance and she will exact retribution on your betrayers.
Through Lucian's lore we know Senna was extremely dedicated to their cause, and the two of them were a very powerful duo. Thresh would more than likely want to break them both, and he found that through Senna. Thresh doesn't keep his souls, either. In his lore it mentions they're brought back to the Shadow Isles "To suffer a fate unimaginable." We know both Kalista and Senna were killed by treachery, and one line from this year's Harrowing page ties this theory together very well...
"The poor souls return with the mist to the Shadow Isles. In time, they’ll forget friends and lovers, even themselves, becoming part of the terrible force that grows stronger every year."
Kalista also seems to share a common theme with Senna: Devotion. She binds her soul to someone, possibly filling a void she doesn't even remember... Lucian.She's missing the love of her life, and she's searching for the soul to fill that hollow point.
