@Riot, a quick question about possible future voice over updates.

If you were to update someone's voice like Shen, who already got a VGU minus a new VO, would you bring in the original VA (in this case Keith Silverstein) to do their voice again or would you try to bring in a different voice actor to change the direction of how they sound?

Just something I was thinking about, since we've only seen one of these recently and I was wondering what you guys (and gals) think about this.

We "like" to use the original actors when we can, but it's a complete variable with reworks:

  1. Can the actor still do the voice? (voices age and can be damaged)
  2. Is the actor available in our timeframe? (Conflicting show, out of country etc..)
  3. Is the character's VO direction or backstory changing signifcantly?
  4. How does the rework pod, VO team, and narrative team feel about the original performance?.
  5. If there has been a small shift in the character--- is the original actor able to perform that? etc...
