So what if Kai calling it a 'suit' is a coping mechanism?

Just talking hypothetically, here.

As in, that is her body. It isn't a separate entity. Her referring to it as a suit is a coping mechanism that allows her to distance herself from what the Void has done to her. There are psychological conditions like that, actually. Where someone is absolutely convinced that their own limb isn't part of their body.

That would solve several pretty major lore disconnects. Namely, why wasn't she twisted by the Void? Answer? Well, she was. But she just refuses to admit it. How did she make it through the Void psychologically intact? Well, she didn't. Not really. She's living in a state of denial regarding her condition.

For those who find her lack of both physical and mental warping offputting, would something like this make you feel better?

Well it is possible that this thing started out as a suit, but given the fact that she hasn't taken this thing off,she probably can't know how much of her original body on the lower parts even remains. The suit might have replaced 80% of her body already without her noticing.

Now THIS, would be very cool and fix a lot of issues for me.

Don't get your hopes too high, because when the official lore is released and it's nothing even close to this, it will only be pain.

Nice sets and conditions but.. this can be applied on any champion and then have them with absolutely no signs of this.

You guys are really stretching it to make it look okay that she is arguably the most boring character in League, personality-wise.

WickedCrow2/23/2018, 3:57:40 PM3 votes

I mean okay, but why a boob window, and why does it look like skin-tight latex instead of scales or an exoskeleton to fit the bug looking nature of many void creatures. Its still a cop out.

Looks like someone read up on their psychology before typing this out.

Fun fact: If I did that referring to any topic of my own interest about league it wouldn't get any comments. But awesome job with this :)

Would definitely be an interesting twist. I wish it didn't feel like we have to make excuses for Riot's poor execution of a champion.

And The Room is actually a masterpiece if you write a several hundred pages essay on the postmodernism treatment of the failure of communication between people found in the movie.

Your entire post is inadvertently one more argument in favor of those who think this champion's writing is lame.

Arakadia2/22/2018, 9:44:34 PM2 votes

Would be much better.

So I was thinking this was going to go in a completely different direction. Like instead of her getting warped by the void into that thing I was thinking more along the lines of the thing she supposedly killed and turned into a suit was actually eating her. She never actually killed it and she realistically knows that, but in order to cop with the fact that she's being eaten alive calls it her suit.

So what you're saying is. . . she's completely naked?

This seems like another shitty fan theory which surface for anything that exists.

I kind of hate madness and ugliness in people, so I find people's thirst for twisted things kind of cringy

Well lets be honest. Her daddy is kassadin. He came out pree fine, just let the void in and use it.

Also the suit is just kog'maw mummy, she is using it for warmth in the dark cold of the void :), thus an explanation for as to why it shoots missiles.
