Do Hextech Keys & Chests Exist In Universe?

I just forged a key and was admiring the animation of the forging and then the key itself. I noticed how inside of the key's "handle" there's a kind of magical swirl. I would guess this is part of the hextech science/magic aspect of the key and this made me wonder if these keys and chest exist in the universe?

I would assume they would be pretty rare and mostly found in Piltover/Zaun and if found in other places they were probably originated from Piltover, taken to other places and lost/stolen etc.
