Didn't expect that. Riot is starting to mature this game right up.

Just letting everyone know (in lieu of a sudden surge of downvotes and flame) I am just saying that I like that Riot is taking a step in this direction. Going from the bright colours and funny characters and the Summoners of Summoners Rift that summon then to a more "believable" world and the people that live in it.

Dialogue like this shows that not all that inhabit Runeterra are kid friendly and happy-go-lucky.

Irony. Celebrating Riot for making the new champ "mature" because she says a cuss word.

Middle schoolers cuss ALL THE TIME. They think it makes them sound cool. Hell, a lot of GRADE schoolers do it. Saying the word shit doesn't make you mature or cool. Most of her lines make her sound like some angry teenager that writes a blog about how much she hates her parents. Rakan sounds like a cross between Donkey from Shrek and that one obnoxiously loud kid in class that acted out for attention.

I mean... I'm glad you like the characters and all... but neither of them comes off as very mature to me. They're rated T for Teen all the way.

"Mature" I don't know that maturing the game is the right way to say it. This would imply that swearing casually indicates any level of maturity.

I find it interesting that we consider giving champions VO that is immature, makes the game more mature. Because suddenly it's adult enough to handle all this language we know most 12 year olds are perfectly acquainted with.

yup champs can use bad language, but players have a forced censorship (no language filter option in game so words get stars) when typing the same words
