I Think Should Riot Produce An Ongoing Story Within Runeterra That Is Cannon With LoL's Lore!
But let's be honest, Riot doesn't care about it's lore. Sure, they produce 2-4 lore events per year, because it's expected of them, but the devils in the details. Let's take a closer look.
Riot deleted Summoners out of Runeterra's. That's a pretty big hit. It makes a heck of a lot of Runeterra's lore complete nonsense.
It's been over a year, and we still see quite a lot of champion lore dependent on the existence of summoners...which is heartbreaking and depressing.
I wanna see Runeterra develop. I wanna see a reason to log in every week to see what's going on in Runeterra. That's my mindset here.
Sorry if my LoL season 1/2 attitude is showing, but I really miss what LoL used to be. It wasn't just a competitive game focused on e-sports...although admittedly that aspect was there (and I have no qualms with that).
I tried to write something that comes across as moderate here...but I can't.
Riot's completely abandoned Runeterra over the last year or two. Each new champion release has an event based around it, but none of those events have ever made any significant impacts on Runeterra.
Riot decided to "delete" summoners from their lore (correct me if I'm wrong), and neglect give any clarifications on the many champion's that don't make sense without summoner's existing, and how they make sense.
