@Riot: Aatrox/Tryn Cataclysmic Event? Or Scheduled Lore Update?

It's been about 27 months since Aatrox was released , with the Darkins and Aatrox-Tryn connection teased. Can we have some kind of culmination or large-scale event which unveils the origins of Aatrox and/or his true purpose? I could see the story going like this...

Aatrox IS the last remaining Darkin in Runeterra, originally one of an elite handful who were meant to act as vanguards/an invasion force from some far-off demon-esque realm. But he betrayed the others and (presumedly) slaughtered his own kin on this side of the veil in order to seal off the portal/gateway and protect mortals for whatever reason (love, a promise, seeking conflict/power/control for himself, etc.), which ended up corrupting his appearance as he becomes organically fused to his armor (Justicar was his original appearance?).

Aatrox's purpose all along was to prepare mankind for the inevitable return of the Darkin, hence his attempts at forging the strongest warriors across all of Runeterra throughout history. Queue unveiling of new emperor Darkin champion, invading from the planet Darima. Exterminate. Hype as the 5 deadliest warriors across Runeterra assemble alongside Aatrox in his Teemozord to take down the eeevil Darima and his army of Dorkins.

I know >_>, but I wants some crumb of info on when Riot plans on at least referencing the Darkin again. Or some explanation as to how Tahm Kench knows and refers to Aatrox as his "friend" (if above was true, maybe Tahm was like Aatrox's travel guide?). Anything really.

Edit: This is probably also a separate issue. I.e. When a new champion is released from specific locales like Demacia/Noxus/Bilgewater/Piltover/Zaun/Ionia/Shurima/TheVoid/etc., they usually layer on a few more tidbits of info either about the cities themselves or interactions with other champions located their. I'm more worried about champions who belong to no faction or state such as Aatrox, how are we going to get stories involving them? Wait over half a decade for a rework? :/

He.. very specifically is not. They outright say theres atleast 4 others.

Aatrox's purpose all along was to prepare mankind for the inevitable return of the Darkin, hence his attempts at forging the strongest warriors across all of Runeterra throughout history.

Doesn't sound like him. You don't make warriors from slaughter. And that's what Aatrox is doing, and what he loves. He turns around wars simply because that is the way to produce the greatest bloodshed and massacre. He's honestly a pretty simply guy motivation-wise.

r some explanation as to how Tahm Kench knows and refers to Aatrox as his "friend"

This part is conjecture, but it's my belief that Tahm sees a kinship in Aatrox. Aatrox has a 'hunger' for blood and violence, and he uses humans to fulfill that urge. Similarly, Tahm is essentially THE demon of hunger, and naturally also makes bargains with humans to help himself. They both pursue similar goals. Aatrox is just more... direct, about his.
