@Riot. What is average amount of polygons used by new champions?

Lately i started doing some 3d modeling and im just curious. LoL models are quite small so i assume that Riot is trying to keep amount of polygons as low as possible to improve preformance. Im also wondering what software is Riot using when creating champion models? Is it something created strictly for LoL or something more commonly used?

As fas as i know they mix up a lot of stuff, but i heard the therm "Maya" thrown here and there regarding modeling. They never use only a tool and not always the same aniway.

I guess polygons depend also on the type of champion, i expect Yorick to have less polygons than other champions because he summons ghouls that have polygons on their own. Still more than Nunu, of course!

The average polycount you should aim for is 30k. Here is a link to the Riot Games Art Contest in Polycount's archives. You can see the work all the participants put into the models, and what they tried to keep their poly size down to. http://polycount.com/categories/character-art
