The first thing is, ant and human example is not equal to human and god dragon. Humans in Runeterra are much powerful than you think. Even Aurelion Sol admits that Targon has powerful magic. (A super arrogant dragon who sees everyone below himself)

Second is, Aurelion Sol is not a god. He is not omnipotent, he is not omniscience. He is extremely powerful entity.

He's not a god firstly. He makes and destroys stars. That's what he does. the people who entrapped him seem to be spirits. Aspects if I'm right. From pantheons lore of how his body was completely taken over by spirits, it's similar to AS, but he's more enslaved rather then taken over. Sort of made their weapon. It doesn't mean their more powerful, just have the ability to control people. If an ant had mind control powers the size of a human and power doesn't matter much does it?

Lore doesn't exist. There is no canon explanation for the game. Riot literally came out and said "it's too hard to come up with reasons for them to be fighting so we just wont"
