I feel like Udyr's lore update is a major downgrade

The main lore is more or less the exact same as before, the wording is what changed for the most part; and imo it changed to a much worse wording. For example:

Old Lore: "Udyr owed much to the Ionians. It was a debt he was never asked to honor, but one he would ultimately repay many times over. When the armies of Noxus invaded, Udyr did not stand idle as the brutal soldiers oppressed the peaceful Ionians - he had not forgotten how to bare his teeth. Udyr leapt at their armies with all the ferocity of a cornered beast and gave the invaders good reason to fear the wilderness. From the trees, his claws tore the Noxians down in scores; on the river banks, he threw them back with the falling tides, and in the fields, he consumed them with searing wildfire. Only when the Noxians fled with their tails between their legs did Udyr quell his rage."

New Lore: "On their travels, they learned that the empire of Noxus had invaded Ionia, and Udyr offered to fight alongside his friend in defending the monastery at Hirana. The spirit walker’s skills proved invaluable as he drew upon the strength of mighty beasts, channeling their untamed vigor into his mortal fists. After a fierce and fiery battle, he stood beside the wounded monks. They were victorious."

I'm sorry but the new wording is so bland. It doesn't express GuardsmanBob chasing the enemy 1v5. At all. The old lore had good description, you could imagine Udyr pursuing and crushing the Noxians endlessly until they fled; the new lore on the other hand feels like, "they had a battle, the end."

The one thing I see the new lore added is Udyr's relationship with a girl who stayed with him when everyone else had left him. I really like that addition but it doesn't go any further than that. It just mentions the girl once and then she is never mentioned again. She isn't even given a name. I'd urge you to explore further here and perhaps even give Udyr a canonical partner. (Edited in: It'd be nice to see a caring side of Udyr who he only shows to one person.)

Ending with a positive note: It makes me really happy that you guys kept Udyr's ties to Ionia, and I thank you for that. Please don't ever make him a Freljord only champ when he had such a big role in defeating the Noxians. I feel like Irelia is becoming (or has become) what Udyr should('ve) be(en.) After all originally he was only from Ionia.
