Zed is not evil in Jhin 's lore it clearly states zed wanted him to die because Jhin killed innocent people and made it seem like it was nothing more than just "art" Maybe killing his master was extreme but like directly in Jhin lore the point where they simply put Jhin in prison was the day Zed slowly turned his back on the kinku order in my mind Zed Saw "balance as weakness" Because it IS weakness Shen and his master were to weak to serve true justice.what if zed thought to himself "how can anyone just sit by and watch as justice is not served"This shows that Zed Isnt evil and does have a morality! what do you guys think.

You shouldn't try to see the world in black and white. I'd say that Zed is evil, but that doesn't mean he is a murderours psychopath like jhin. Evil is more complex, there can be multiple reasons for someone to be evil, some people might even be evil because they want to achieve something good.

Zed thinks that balance is a weakness and as shown in ionias history, that isn't entirely wrong,I mean Ionia had some big losses in the war because its traditions about balance made it vulnerable and if zed had killed jhin back then, then jhin wouldn't run around now.

However ultimately Zed went back to the kinkou order, ready to steal the box and at least from what we know he killed his master(and adoptive parent) and then ordered his guys to attack the other ninjas. That is pretty selfish and evil, even if he had his reasons to do it. Sure you might say now that we don't know the exact circumstances of kushos death, but zed was ready to use force to get the box,so he was pretty much prepared to attack the order anyway.

Zed is a nice guy and honestly I would had reacted the same way
"young Zed marched forward to kill the cowering man, but Kusho held him back. Despite the horrors of Jhin's actions, the legendary master decided the killer should be taken alive and left at Tuula Prison. Shen disagreed, but accepted the emotionless logic of his father's judgment. Zed, disturbed and haunted by the murder scenes he had witnessed, was unable to understand or accept this mercy, and it is said a resentment began to bloom in his heart" Now i Know what started it

Zed is not good. He is rotten to the core. He killed his master because they were stuck in their old ways and Zed goes his own way. Just like Jhin. He goes his own way and kills for pleasure and style, just like Zed. They are both evil :)
