I find this a bit odd considering we had part of a new splash for her "leaked" in the lcs awhile back:

You could also argue her current splash is better than her Chinese one since it at least fits somewhat in the older league style.

They said, that they wanted to have all splash arts the same(i.e. on the chineese server, the splash arts are diffrent than on NA). So basically they are just changing it, so its the same for every server.
i was rly looking forward to that splashart tho (the 1 beneath the chinese) it looks so cool *sigh :/
Im just happy her chinese splash matches her ingame hair. It was a bit offputing for me.

More importantly, Irelia buffs on the PBE. :D
They are probably holding off on releasing it till they can just put out a ton of them out at the same time like they did in the past. So it will probably be awhile still before we see that or any others they may have leaked (i.e. the WW one seen at worlds 2014)
