If Kha'Zix and Rengar were to fight again, lore-wise, who do you think would win?

lorewise if kha'zix is fully evolved he can kill rengar easily no matter who attacks first

Yeah, and in the lore, it says, Kha'Zix was badly wounded, but Rengar was on the brink of death. Not to mention, Rengar suffered more serious wounds [eye].

I think it depends on who sees who first, if Rengar manages to land an ensnare on Kha, Kha is dead, if Kha lands a pink where he is, Rengar is SUPER DEAD, so, yeah, Kha has more chances of winning this one, specially because he has extra chance of winning against solo targets.

In game, Kha'Zix dies easily by Rengar (most of the time), but in lore Kha can POTENTIALLY outmatch them. It depends on what he's eaten since their last encounter.

Honestly ingame it depends. Early Game Kha should dumpster Rengar thanks to Isolation making him one of the best pre 6 duelists. Late Game, assuming neither is uber fed or behind, usually whoever gets the jump on the other first will win. But Rengar does snowball better than Kha thanks to his damage being tied to his CD's, as opposed to Kha's reliance on isolation.

Also yada yada, whichever the meta benefits more. (Sad kha main, attack speed fighters like Jax and Yi are the worst to fight... and Protect-The-Kog comps)

I know the feel. Some times I feel he can't quite be the most reliable assassin compared to other picks. I've been slowly drifting away from playing him, since he feels way too fragile.

His fragility is by no means a problem if you ask me. He has the tools in his kit to do damage and not get damage back. Also he has a lot more complexity in just his jump than Rengar has in his entire kit, the amount of tricks you can do using Leap is insanely... well, adaptive!

If you need to be tanky, he serves as a half decent bruiser by going item 3053 item 3742 , his only real problem is hard counter comps, that being comps that revolve around sitting on top of your own carries. I just want them to change his Evolved W to provide an isolation range buff so that he can do something about those situations, and maybe buff his passive on Evolved R. Won't break his laning since people won't not Evolve Q/E first, it would almost entirely just help his Late Game which is where he starts struggling.

At first glance rengar looks like the protagonist and Kha'zix like the villain of the story(because kha looks and acts more evil than rengar and rengar has a bit of an underdog feeling to him since he pretty much lost their first encounter),so I'd say Rengar would be likely.

However I think that Kha'zix winning the fight would be more interesting.

I mean what happens if Rengar wins?He gets a trophy and would probably become depressed again that there is no worthy prey anymore(maybe he'd go somewhere else to search for them) and maybe they could make a story about rengar trying to find out about his roots,where he came from and so on. However the thing is that the whole story about "feels empty after achieving his goal and searches for new opponents" could also be done with Kha'zix and the "tries to find his real family" could be done before their final battle.

However if kha'zix wins,they could actually let him evolve in the lore(they could make stories how kha'zix consumed certain beasts to evolve his W,E and R and through the consumption of eating rengar he could get his evolved Q),which would be interesting to see.

My personal head canon is that they just have a draw and figure out neither one can win over the other or something, and just become the best of hunting buddies.
