If it doesn't help you kill them with Panth there's not really a purpose. If they haven't surrendered by 30 mins you're probably going to be fairly useless either way.

when I played riven, i used to go hydra, cleaver, sunfire cape, randuins omen and spirit visage when her shield lasted 2.5 seconds that build was hilarious because you could tank a tower forever without taking any damage

Honestly how I feel buying it on Sion . The juggernaut items seem odd for champions that are more focused on abilities than auto attacks (not that Sion is a juggernaut, it's just a decent item on him).

Sion isn't completely ability focused though. Your abilities mainly keep them slowed down enough to stay in auto range for you, and to be sitting ducks for your carries.

Much like the same thing on Karthus, you can go RoA, Seraph's, or both. They all work, it's just whatever you prefer to fit your playstyle.

Except, y'know, the optimal Singed build has neither. You rush Rylai's, because it's your most core item. By then, RoA and Tear would take too long and don't really give you enough beyond just... Stats and sometimes a shield. The "general" build is Rylai's, Liandry's, tanky. You generally rush Rylai's unless you're in a horrendous lane, then you rush defense. Liandry's is only if the enemy team is getting sufficiently beefy.

Meh, I'm not a big fan of item or mastery arguments, because they're always somewhat situational, and given way more weight than they should, and mean very little in the end and is really just nonsense. The most important thing at the end of the day is how good one is at the champ, not what they buy for them. A bad 6.3 AP-Zz'rot-whatever Udyr player with the most nonsense build-and-kit combo in the game is still a bad Udyr player, and they're not going to help their team any if they can't play Udyr. Same goes for any champ with any half-viable build. As long as a champion benefits in any way off of the stats given by the items, almost any core build can look crazy-overpowered if done by someone who knows how to use it.

Kind of a long-winded way to say "To each his own style, there is no 'best build'", but that was the idea behind that paragraph.
