When Someone Says, "Where's Evelynn?"

Well the fact that he isn't allowed on free week is kinda part of it...

His kit is extremely toxic for the enemy team.

The runes used their are spot on. The masteries are close; I take Runic Affinity over Assassin. The reason is that the longer buffs help you with your early clears; that 2% damage for 1v1 fights isn't going to do much if you are losing XP and Gold with frequent backs. Also, you generally aren't engaging in 1v1 fights unless it is to pick off stragglers.

One of the key things is to not die; it is better to live than to secure a kill and die. As such make your ganks about the enemy fearing you might be there to give your laners some breathing room. If you can feed them a kill or safely secure it yourself then do so.

For starters, you have two choices.

Option 1:

This is an extremely strong start for Evelynn and used to be my go to start. I rarely start this these days (I go into this in a bit). This is really good as with a good leash, you should be able to clear 4 camps at the minimum. The down side is you will be buying more pots and it will cost you. If you plan on ganking early, this is your only viable start.

Option 2:

This is an extremely weak start of Evelynn but is currently my preferred start. With a good leash you might get three camps. Expect to only clear two. Get after your second/third camp. Make sure you always click off a potion at the start of each camp as your camps replenish them if you are at 5 stacks. If you have less than 5, use your judgement. Sell it when you need space and you find you aren't really using it any more (after a bit, it just doesn't heal you enough).

This will delay your early ganking pressure, however, you shouldn't need to back until you can afford / and . Your mid game will be extremely strong from your early power farming/ganking.

Now you can pretty much sustain indefinitely in the jungle.

Itemization 101:

Evelynn isn't very strong and needs to live long enough to kill things. Your primary focus is or . Once you have that, it becomes a matter of feel. How is the flow of the game going? Do you need damage (get that )? Do you need speed (get boot upgrades)? Do you need tankiness (get )?

For boots, if you are ahead or want to be everywhere at once get . If you are facing an AP or CC heavy team I strongly recommend ; that early MR and tenacity are very under appreciated. If you are against an auto-attack heavy team and are behind, don't feel bad about taking .

You first big item will be ; the slow is huge for Evelynn. Again, she needs time to kill things and slowing your enemies helps.

From there, my usual pool of items is:

This is pretty much your replacement Runeglaive; however it is not critical to build early. If you are ahead then by all means rush it.

/ Your Anti-AD items. A ton of auto-attacks? Get FH; the 20% CDR is actually nice and the stats are great. Otherwise, Deadman's is pretty fantastic.

I almost always build this. Against heavy AP it might be my first item after Rylais. Against pure AD I replace this with which synergizes well with the slow from Rylais.

A situational item to replace either FH/Deadman's or Abyssal for teams with an overwhelming amount of AD / AP. I sometimes grab this against health stackers too if I can work it in. I'd rather have Lich Bane than this.

I have a ton of other items on my item set for her that get built once in a blue moon. For example, against teams with aggressive Life Steal or sustain, I might swap out Lich Bane for for GW.

soraka jungler wont gank,she wont even try to, but she will heal every single champ in every single lane (just like morde jungler)
