as for Warwick, you'll get the reworked version automatically, when the patch hits. nothing needed on your part; any skins you owned prior will transfer to new WW

Roughly. There are some situations that could potentially cause the reworked champion to not be available immediately when the patch is released. Sometimes it can take a few hours after the patch initially goes live, it could take a few days, they may even delay it until the next patch.
Ultimately, two weeks is a good estimate based on the schedules of prior reworks.
