Shurima has returned and Azir has been putting in the effort to restore it to its former glory.
It will be a matter of time when Azir probably or has heard that Noxus has conquered part of Shurima and take it back.
When this happens, Swain and the rest of the world will gradually learn of the return of the Ascended.
So what do you think would happen then?

Simple. Noxus shits itself because they can't intervene at all atm due to already having problems on their own, and if they did try to intervene they would get fucked cause Xerath is op, and so is Azir in the desert. If Azir ends up beating Xerath, he then proceeds to rebuild and reunify his empire even faster, then in a few years he goes after the Noxian occupied cities (assuming the ones that have rebels in them don't manage to take back their own city through Azir funding their rebellions or some shit. The dude has a lot of gold and can apparently transmute sand to gold). Then prob Azir wouldn't care more about expanding in Valoran so he would prob go to see wtf Ixtal is doing which case Ixtal most likely gets conquered unless they willingly join this time too. In the end, after probably taking over all of the Shuriman continent again, Azir would prob try to attack Noxus. Depending on how powerful the reborn empire of Shurima is, he should be successful which case R.I.P Noxus too. But most likely he will stop mid-way in his conquest because Malzahar is doing freaky shit with the Void rift in Icathia and Ascended know p well that's VERY bad news If Xerath wins it's GG for everybody because he is op asf
I'm pretty sure that Azir will try to reclaim his lost territory, but I doubt that he'd directly attack Noxus, especially since he'd either need to go there by ship or conquer Piltover/Zaun first, which will be difficult on its own.
Though I'm not sure what Noxus will do, Swain might try to negotiate with Azir first, but I doubt that Azir would be willing to give Noxus anything that he considers to be Shuriman territory/property.
Cassiopeia is a wild card in all of this though, she'd likely try to get close to Azir to manipulate him, but her new appearance should be a dead giveaway to Azir that she is no one that should be trusted(especially after what happened with Xerath), so this would prove difficult, if not impossible for Cassiopeia. So I wonder if she might not try to get on Xeraths good side instead, though that'd be dangerous for her out of entirely different reasons.
Wat. I wanna know, if azir will recruit all shurimans including kaisa if a war breaks out against noxus
