Why the new toggle on/off winds for Aatrox is a great and revolutionary idea...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not quiet happy with Aatrox's rework, but even I couldn't think of this, a great idea to keep his old banner wings, while being an optimized toggle on/off feature that could brings new visual effects to new and old champions....
Just think about it: Garen control+5 makes him wear a helmet of the Dauntless Vanguard Swain control+5 makes him remove his coat Alistar control+5 he removes his chains

I don't think it's necessarily revolutionary since it's been done before I do think it's a great way for Riot to add maybe somewhat divisive visual elements

I'm not really for Alistar being able to remove his chains.

It wouldn't really make sense, given his lore.

Besides, his "Unchained" skin would literally become self-contradictory.

Tbh it would be thematically cooler if his banner wings became visible only after ranking up his ult the first time. His character identity revolves around him killing things in order to closer resemble his original form. At level 6 he would have killed enough minions/champions to evolve his form. They would also act as a visual indicator that he has has leveled his ult.

But I guess some players don't like the wings and some do...
