What is Jarvans actual gameplay fantasy?

I have been thinking about this for a while and i cant actualy figure it out. His gameplay niche is jumping into 4 people and locking them up in makeshift arena but thats it i cant find any other real classification for him like you can with other champions. For example lets take Yasuo(as much as he is hated) people know what him as the swift and agile blademaster who cuts through his foes with precision and speed. Jarvan is know as the guy who dashes in and ults someone and does nothing until his CDs come back. Does Riot have any plans of updating his kit giving a few extra things to work with?

His gameplay fantasy is to be the heroic leader who charges into the fight at the head of his army, which is accomplished decently (although it could be improved, in my opinion).

Hence the lead-in with the E+Q+R to hold the enemy down while your team follows you up, the W to survive while they do, the E's buff to empower your team, and the target-independent passive so when your abilities are on cooldown you run around smacking everyone and repositioning for the next Q.

I think his fantasy is ultimately successful, but I'd love to see Riot take a spin at locking it down a little harder.

Warrior Prince. The fearless royal who actually does something. Also a little bit of Dragonslayer on the side; idk about nowadays, but his original lore featured him returning from self exile covered in the trophies of a dragon he killed. Thats why there's horns on his armor.

Compare him to Prince Arthas pre-Death Knight. J4 even has one of Arthas' lines from WC3, "For my father, the King."

His fantasy is slamming the floor so hard he destroys everyone around him including some of the planet's crust to form his cataclysmic stadium of doom.

Or frontline general prince /lu bu from dynasty warriors ish works too
