Miss Fortune: Transition Between Old And New Lore

Okay, so as I know it, Miss Fortune's old lore is that aside of looking for her mothe's killer, she's trying to unify Bilgewater and shaping it to a strong country. Obviously, because it has ties with the League of Legends and the Summoners, it has to go.

In this new lore, it seems that her desire to unify Bilgewater is... well, gone. She just wants her vengeance, and that's that. So, my question here, Riot, is... well did you just make that desire to unify Bilgewater go poof or you're giving her something else to compensate? (I would say her crews, like Rafen, I suppose, but I dunno, can be something else.)

The answer can give hints on what path she would take, whether she will become even more ruthless to the point there's no difference between her and Gangplank (except her gender), or whether she would mellow down. Or how she feels towards Bilgewater overall, because from the look of it, if she threw Bilgewater into chaos by killing Gangplank, it's like she dislikes the whole city that she doesn't care about how it's in chaos.

This transition makes sense to me.

Early Miss Fortune wanted two things: Vengeance on Gangplank, and the unification of Bilgewater. There was just one problem - Bilgewater was already unified. Under Gangplank. So those two goals are suddenly in conflict - If she takes revenge on Gangplank, Bilgewater will tear itself apart, but if she leaves Bilgewater unified she never gets her revenge. She was forced to choose which of these two goals she wanted more and discard the other, and she chose vengeance.

To me it like instead of "uniting" Bilgewater, she is "purging" Bilgewater.

Don't you see? This is how chaotic the world of Runeterra is becoming now that there is no League of Legends to hold the political struggles in place! No higher power to stop Gangplanks Corruption nor his murder by Fortune's hands... No friends for Amumu ... Well at least Shurima is unaffected.

Well it's clear that (supposedly) killing Gangplank clearly hasn't given her much peace so she's probably looking to go on a rampage on anything associated with him and I suppose that would include screwing over Bilgewater's current state of affairs.

Now that GP is dead, she is probably trying to seize control of Bilgewater to unite it.

I think the point of these new lore entries is to give the Champions room to grow. After this Gangplank nonsense, she's going to be forced into a different direction and have new goals.

So let's say GP isn't dead and she realizes that instead of killing gangplank, she can destroy his vision of bilgewater instead to get back at him. Or maybe she just tries to kill him again. I dunno! There is room for her to make choices and go in different directions. Riot has also stated that this is just the beginning for her. She is the central character in the next chapter of lore, and all of this was her set up (as well as some great lore for TF and Graves)
