There is something that bothers me about Wawick VGU

And tell me if it's just me but... when I see him I can't help but remember that he's not a wolf anymore, every time I see his model I remember more and more that he's more a chimera than a wolf and the ears have started to look too much like a bat's for me... why can't he just be a wolf? :S it wouldn't be such a stretch if Singed experimented with wolf DNA as opposed to fox/bat :S

for clarification's sake:

I don't think he looks like a bat or a fox, he still looks and sounds and even runs like a wolf, visuals are fine, the problem is that when you read his flavor story (the one where singed experiments on him) they call him a chimera, this makes me (yes, me, I recognize it's a personal problem with the choosing of words on that story) feel like he's just not a wolf anymore and I start seeing his outlier features stray more and more away from those of a wolf, I guess it's a matter of perception but even if he was 100% wolf and then lore says that he's a cat for example, you'd start feeling him like a cat instead of wolf.

What I'm trying to get at is that the word chimera should be a lot more ambiguous because it defines him as something and modifies any views you might have of the character. In the past, warwick wasn't just a wolf either, his lore made him a chemist of sorts so you saw this savage wolf jumping at people but you couldn't shake the idea of him drinking potions... does that make sense?
