New PBE Update added Taric's Hammer as one of the items in the Shopkeepers Ship-thing.

Just to be clear, this is his current hammer!
I think that's his old hammer, maybe updated slightly as a way of honoring old Taric.
Though I guess it could look just like his new one.

We hear you want something along the line of Traditional skin to retain and help remember the champ before being reworked so we decided to rework and update Taric's hammer and added to the shopkeeper's shop. Oh and just to be clear he won't be having a Traditional skin thank you for reading.

Taric is going to be a Real Targonian (might be a regal one too :3).

That's Taric's current hammer.
It's in the store barrel as a way of symbolizing that he (and Riot) is getting rid of it, and replacing it with a new weapon, most likely with a very different design direction that's less cartoon-y.
Actually, he might not have a hammer at all in his rework. With 
they majorly down-played her shield and instead put emphasis on her hammer, so changing a champions weapon themes isn't beyond what they're willing to do. I'm not sure how they would go about changing his weapon dynamics, but it's definitely possible.
Can we replace frozen mallet with tarics hammer?
Well... The current Taric IS from the space... so, it makes sense to the "tech-y"
But this easter makes me wonder in the current Taric will be canon in the new lore or what.
Taric no longer uses a hammer
That is literally just his hammer as it is now. My theory is that his new one will look vastly different and this addition to the shop is just there as a memento.
lmao that's his old one man, they dedicate old items that have been retired usually to be decorated at the shop keepers. Kinda like when you use /joke on tahm kench he barfs up the old "Heart of Gold" item that was removed, then eats it up again really fast
It looks like they're retiring another weapon. When Graves lost his gun in the Bildgewater event, he got a brand new gun (and kit) soon after. Could be the same thing here with Taric.

I think i was the only one who truly enjoyed playing taric, even played him in rank. I will miss him, but i hopd they keep his "gems are truly outrageous"
I will never forgive Riot if they nerf Gems.
I hope the new taric is orange like the sun and from targon.

Not to say the hype isn't real. But it's the same hammer he's always had, take a second look [slayer-jinx-wink]
idk I have little faith in VUs and reworks at this point. I think the only decent one was gp, maybe fiora (kit-wise): morde, sion, mf (lol that's a joke fyi), all meh. Can't wait to see how they trash poor triangle-feet Taric. :(
