Bravo to whoever wrote Galio's lines, it's nice that he's a goofy character with a serious side.
And kudos to his actor too, of course.

Yeah. I love Galio because of the depth and how he realistically portrays someone who's depressed. Remember, few depressed people actually spend all their time going on about how sad they are, they usually hide it behind another way of behaving. Like the class clown.

The voice actor for new Galio is Josh Petersdorf, the same man who voices Roadhog in Overwatch.
I'd like to think that's a reference to the old Galio. The one that has been permanently put to sleep to be replaced by this new champion. Goodnight Galio, sleep well.
