I don't feel like this looks much like Karma at all. If i didn't know better, it'd look like either a new champion or a genderbender Vladimir with too much makeup on her face. Not to mention the icon barely resembles Karma aswell. I mean look at those facial features and lips!

My suggestion would be to try and re-do the face completely and make the body around the waist less slender like in the Classic splash art. The feet look okay i think.

This is really bothering me, idk how it's supposted to look like her outside of the abilities she is showing off which are also quite vague. Glowing eyes then?

The in-game skin looks beautiful though.

Yeah I agree completely. Personally my main gripe with it comes down to her face. She's pale, her nose is too pointed and her cheekbones are too high. Karma has a relatively rounded face and this artwork is that of an extremely angled woman. It doesn't even resemble her or the skin model AT ALL. Yes some digression needs to be taken, but this isn't even remotely close.

Ironically Karma's thighs are also quite skinny in this splash, and they've pretty much ALWAYS being a recurring trait of her design. She normally has really nice thighs.

It doesn't nessecarily have to be a shadow. Could be anything, walls, mountains in the distance.

Personally, I really love the splash art, especially showing her using her Mantra powers. It's one of the aspect I always felt drawn to her, like she's super charging herself and ready to unleash all of her powers.

That was the same thing which drew me to Karma. The way her powers look in her splashes is really cool, kinda reminds me of Scarlet Witch. Would have been great if when she activated her mantra in-game, she moved her hands around with her magic looking like that xD

I mean, its Riot Games. There often is a digression between the model and splash. Which, is partly because the splash artists don't make the models.

A lot of the better skins do though. They don't provide an alternate view of the champ, they remake the champ into something else.

Not a single one except Pug'Maw (which i also made a post on since it's so dramatically different it's basically a custom skin) does this without showing the champion itself off. They're alternative fantasies for a reason. You can't take Soraka and turn her into an ambulance for example. It's ridiculous.

Infernal Diana, Elementalist Lux, Meowkai, etc. These skins take champions, and re-imagine them as something else. For example Lunar Goddess Diana. That's a Diana skin. I look at it and go, "Hey, its a Diana skin" However if you look at Infernal Diana, it is much harder to relate to her base skin.

Infernal Diana looks like Diana, E. Lux looks like Lux, Meowkai looks like Maokai.

They re-imagine them. They don't turn them into entirely new beings that make no sense to the champion like fucking Pug'Maw. The skins still resemble the champions and their abilities. They don't turn them into something out-of-League

I honestly have no clue how can you not relate Infernal Diana to Diana. It looks exactly the same plus orange fire.

Having an opinion doesn't mean i am mad. Feedback serves a purpose you know.

It is easily recognizable if someone points it out and tells you it's Karma or only because of the magic and legs. Other than that, i'd say it's a new hemomancer. No kidding.

Especially the face in Winter Wonder since you can see it, I always felt it looked heavily like a Disney Princess more so than Karma when compared to all of her other splashes.

Hell even the new Sun Goddess splash https://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/6/6c/Karma_SunGoddessSkin.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20170321201050 doesn't have that much of a similarity to her base art imo.

I feel Conqueror looks more like her than some of her other ones.

Warden skins are honestly a gimmick. They're completely covered in armor but their body features are somewhat relatable with the exceptionof Karma's.

And yes, Winter Wonder looked pretty weird to me aswell.

Sun Goddess and the others are just reworks. It could easily be her as a younger woman.

.... Now you're just being too picky! It's almost the same thickness and it's a different pose (so ofc it looks a little bit different). Just see real models in different poses, one could go from rectangular to hourglass in a heartbeat.

To be fair, i'm not sure if it's the leg or the waist. She is obviously slightly too slender in the skin.

And yes, i'm going to be picky. I collect Esports themed Legacy skins that aren't team-related. Ofcourse i want it to look the part.
