Hey Riot, would it be alright if I wrote a poem based around Kindred's philosophical ideas on life and death? I really enjoy the way the champion was designed and I would like to ask for permission to use those ideas and form a deep and powerful poem on that theme. Thanks!

If you're not outright mentioning Kindred, then you probably don't even have to ask. Riot doesn't have a monopoly on life-death philosophy or anything.
As long as you don't try to sell it as league stuff, then its fine. Basically, Riot owns everything connected to league, and as long as you don't try to sell it for your own profit, you may do what you want with it.
