How about a non-malevolent character from the Shadow Isles?

I was just feeling that riot could add a little variance in the shadow isles motivation. The point being that besides Maokai, champs from the shadow isles seem to be motivated in some part by death and destruction. If you consider the fact that most were at some point human there should be at least a few who weren't completely broken by whatever turned the isles.

There should be a character who turned all the anguish it felt into a overtly friendly attitude to cope, maybe with a prankster penchant. Think Casper the friendly ghost meets Peeves the Poltergeist from Harry Potter.

I think that could provide much insight as to what turned the isles and what it was like in the past in future lore.

Edit: Many have pointed out Yorick as a non evil entity, but at best he is neutral and most of his lore will most likely be significantly different once his rework has happened.

Yorick could be described, at the very least, as neutral. He has no interest in the evil, spooky doings of the Shadow Isles, he's cursed to be there until he buries enough people.

Honestly, all I want from the Shadow Isles is an actual undead female. We've so far got only two girls from the isles, and, suprise suprise, they're not dead and they look like strippers. Why can't we have a armor/ghost thing like Hec, Morde, and kinda Thresh, but as a (non-uber sexualized) female instead.

Can't wait for the new support champion, Casper! :3

Does Lucian count? Or are you only looking for characters that are from the Shadow Isles (not just kill stuff there)

Isn't Maokai also sort of motivated by death/destruction (of his forest)?

From the Harrowing video: "... while all good folk shun this cursed land..."

I dont think that there are good people at the shadow isles

I think if a champ from the shadow isles were to do good it would have to be something like he wants to do good but he is cursed and what ever he touch's dies making a tragic story. Because as much as I like diversity in personalities in champs, the shadow isles is a tragic tale and I think should stay that way. However I do think a character with a happier personality would be a good fit as long as his happiness is unsettling. To give you an idea think of Ryuunosuke Uryuu from the anime Fate/Zero and if you don't know him search him up on YouTube. This character is disturbing. I think it could be a great fit in the shadow isles if the personality was tweaked in the right way.

No, we will NOT have any kindred spirits roaming. They will be twisted by the dark magics.item 3151 :D "Bind Their spirits to the Shadow Isles!

That would definitely fit. One of my older Champion Concepts actually explores that.

The Champion, Yuurei (which means Spirit), is the daughter of the Ruined King (ruler of the Shadow Isles), who sacrificed herself in a ritual that she believed was going to save her homeland from outside invaders. However, the ritual actually turned the Shadow Isles into what it is today.

As a sentient ghost, Yuurei confronted her father, hoping to dissuade him from destroying their homeland before it was too late, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. The Ruined King ordered his subjects to destroy Yuurei, who fled as her homeland was forever changed into a realm of death.

Yuurei eventually teams up with Maokai and flees the Shadow Isles with the last pulse of life that Maokai guards, hoping to defeat her father and cleanse the Shadow Isles.

We do need some sort of "good undead", as Amumu is decidedly neutral.

EDIT: Downvoted for Touhou...

Well, Evelynn originates from the shadow isles, but decides to take no part in their malicious plans.

overall I agree that the shadow isles could need someone good, but then again the same could go for noxus(even the noxians who aren't evil are a shade of grey at best). The problem is that there'd need to be some damm good reason for said character to still live there even if he/she opposes the slaughtering of the living.

Out of all the nations the SI are probably the most evil ones,so it is kinda hard for a good person to live there.

Yorick? He is kinda neutral, but he isn't malevolent or evil.
